We had the HONOR of organizing a dream baby shower for some really special people ♥️ if you can take a minute and read their story, you won’t be disappointed!!
“My husband and I both had very difficult childhoods, growing up with parents heavily involved in drugs and alcohol. I’m estranged from my parents, so marrying into his loving, faith-filled family was a true blessing. We married young—me at 18, him at 22—knowing early on that we wanted to break generational cycles and raise a family rooted in love and faith.
From the start, we leaned on God, attending church regularly and trusting Him through every season. After years of infertility, we began to explore foster care, feeling called to love children in need while we waited on God’s timing for our own. In 2020, we became licensed foster parents and haven’t turned down a child since.
While fostering, we continued to pursue answers for our infertility. After over a decade, we were told IVF was our only option. Our first round gave us two embryos—one failed to implant, and the other ended in early miscarriage. We were heartbroken and financially drained. A second round, with help from family, gave us three viable embryos. Sadly, our third transfer ended in another miscarriage at six weeks.
At that point, I was ready to give up—but my husband stayed strong and encouraged me to try once more. With our fourth transfer, I surrendered completely to God, asking Him to take the desire from my heart if it wasn’t His will. We didn’t tell anyone. No photos. No updates. Just faith. And then—the call came. My beta number was 1020. We were finally pregnant!
This child is nothing short of a miracle. She’s living proof that God still does miracles today—maybe not parting seas or feeding thousands, but in quiet, powerful ways. Once we made it to viability, I finally let myself believe she was really coming—and I knew her baby shower had to be Christ-centered.
That’s why we chose the theme “A Little Piece of Heaven is on the Way.” Because she truly is—a gift from heaven that we feel so undeserving of.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for creating a shower beyond anything I could’ve imagined. The love, the beauty, the food—everything was perfect. People are still reaching out, saying it was one of the best events they’ve ever attended. I’ll cherish it always.”
