What a special day.. my beautiful cousin got married in my uncle’s backyard. It was beyond perfect and one of the most beautiful weddings I have been to.

Last night our waterpolo family came together and surrounded our Coach with love,with the passing of his mother. The look on his face when the whole team/parents showed up at the same time was a tearjerker. It was a honor to create this beautiful floral arrangement from the team and the best part was the angel. My mom collected angels and heart rocks, and I bought this weeks ago, but felt compelled to use it for this piece. Later last night I found out his mom collected angels and the family asked if we knew that. God works in mysterious ways. 💜

I’ll admit I was nervous because I always give my brides a preview of their bouquet to make sure it’s exactly what they envisioned. Jess wanted to be surprised the day of the wedding, and when she saw it and her bridesmaids told her not to cry because she would ruin her makeup, I knew I nailed it! 💜

While scrolling Instagram, I saw today is 3 year anniversary of starting her account to share her passion and I just love to see how much she has grown in these past few years!
If you have followed me for any length of time, hopefully you’ve caught on that I looooove flowers. They bring me so much joy, so to be able to do some branding photos for Kasha was the absolute best. She is an incredible florist and created such beautiful arrangements. We did these photos right in her kitchen because that represents what she does, running her business right out of her own home. 3 years ago today, I started this account to share my passion of EVERYTHING flowers. It started with me growing flowers to sell on my porch and turned into so much more! I still can’t believe how far I’ve come, or how much this “little business” of mine grew. To all my family, friends and people who have been sharing and supporting me… I can not THANK YOU enough. It’s been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, learning a TON, balancing my other business on top of trying to be a mom and wife.

A few weeks back I got to work with some very talented people in the business to do a “styled shoot”. The vibe was right up my ally.. “moody, jewel tone” I don’t get to work with with these colors enough!

This past weekend was sooooo much fun! I photographed a styled shoot for the first time in years, and it’s just so great to be able to photograph a wedding type situation without the extra pressure of an actual wedding day. It’s a great time to practice new things and have just a little extra time that doesn’t typically exist on a typical wedding day. This styled shoot was stunning and I really loved working with this whole group of people that helped pull this off ❤️ More to come from this styled shoot soooon! 😍
