Imperial Events WV had a blast hosting a Valentines Dance Party for the Boys and Girls Club Guyandotte ! Music, dancing, face painting and snacks...what better way to enjoy after-school activities!?
Today Imperial Events WV helped with an absolutely incredible festival raising awareness for ALS! This event took place next to the Fly In Cafe on rt 2 and included not only our inflatable bouncy house and face painting service, but also included a dunk tank, live music, guest speakers and prizes. Getting to watch the WV Skydivers was also incredible! The Mayor even stopped by!
This was their first year hosting this event and we look forward to helping them with many more in the future.

Shoutout to the City of Williamson for having us setup at their annual King Coal Festival last Saturday! This was our second time working in this gorgeous little town and they gave us our own PARKING LOT to setup. We look forward to a future of events with them!
Today Imperial Events WV helped produce a wonderful event in Williamson called "The Red White & Slide"! We met/worked with the city council and helped create an exciting summer weekend for local families. We are thankful they had us and look forward to bringing more events to Williamson!

THE 2021 NEW YEARS RAVE
MUDBALL!!!
So, let’s talk about the 2021 New Years Rave. For the staff who remember it, or “kind of” remember it, its still talked about to this day. Following the massive success of the 2020 Halloween Rave, Imperial Events WV had a lot of pressure to pump out another event to keep traction and popularity. This was heavily disputed amongst the leadership team as some felt it might be safer to just wait for a better time. However, the majority rule agreed the people wanted MORE, and we needed to give them more.
The last event was held outside and cold, but not so bad that it deterred anyone from showing up. This time, they had to have an indoor location. Aryn Harmon, who worked extremely hard the last event was promoted as an ADMIN. His first suggestion as leadership was for them to rent out a 20x40 tent and put it at the bottom of the hill as the party location. These tents come with heat and provide a significant amount of space for activities. This seemed like a great idea and was implanted. Imperial Events WV’s first tent party!
December 1st hit, and the new poster was dropped. The group chat was lit up once again and business continued! The attention and attendance mark all seemed to be very similar to the last event, so high hopes were held, and hard work was pushed. However, they received a warning from the property owner. A warning that nobody listened to. “ITS GOING TO BE SO MUDDY DOWN THERE YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO WALK. MUDBALL!!! MUDBALL!!! MUDBALL!!!”
The crew ignored this crazy old man’s cry for attention and crafted the event anyways. Things were looking up until the horrible news of Kendall Nall’s passing stunned the local area. Kendall was a dear close friend to many people in the crew as well as a large portion of the guest. Nathan was distraught and wanted to make sure he could serve Kendall’s memory by hosting a memorial for him prior to the event.

What a rush! The Rocky Horror Picture Show w/ Downhome Decadence proved to be a worthy and impressive end to this incredible year. This cultural phenomenon has proven to be a timeless tradition, and this past Saturday Imperial Events WV was able to bring it back home to Huntington for the first time in five years. This proved to be a major success and inspirational night for both us and Downhome Decadence.
I want to start by thanking the cast, crew, and leaders of Downhome Decadence for being amazing to work with. The passion this team has for their work is simply astonishing. I could not have asked to work with a better crew. Thank you all so much for being so kind and fun to share this experience with!
I also want to thank my wonderful staff that have always proved to be one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I often ask myself how I got so lucky to gather such an amazing, unique, and hilarious team. I want to give some honorable mentions to John Thomas for working his ass off running around in all directions all night, Selena and Christal for handling the hardest door sales we have ever faced, Noah for keeping the music running, Jack for bringing the I.E to the venue, Aryn and Trish for running a perfect bar, and of course Jake Salyers for providing deep fried hotdogs….and making sure we had the money to run the show!

And most importantly…thank you to everyone who came out to support us! So many of you are loyal followers who love to have fun and want to see us grow, and that alone means so much to me. However, the majority of Saturday night were people I have never seen before at an Imperial Events WV show…and to them I also say THANK YOU for giving us a shot!
We look forward to working with DHD again as I am sure there will be another ROCKY HORROR show in the future!
