Swooning over these photos of Emma & Scott’s dreamy jewel-toned winter wedding at ✨🤍 Such a magical day featuring a deconstructed arch filled with winter greens and fairy lights and lanterns for the ceremony, and an eclectic mix of tablescape designs for the reception. In order to achieve dimension in this gorgeous grand venue, we went with lush full sized compote bowl centerpieces, mixed with elevated candelabra bud vases, alongside farmhouse tables featuring a marathon of various sized bud vases. Each table was topped off with an eclectic mix of candles and colored taper candles. *chef’s kiss!*

Happy Valentine’s Day, flower loves! This is a gentle reminder that behind every flower order today, there is a very tired, very sore, very hopeful (yet nervous) designer who poured their heart into each and every design. Please be kind, patient, understanding, and well- just have a little love!

Since our flowers aren’t the kind you see in the supermarket (aka the ones that strangely don’t ever seem to die, yet also don’t really smell like real flowers anymore and hey, how the heck were these grown anyway…? 🤔) here are some tips to keep them fresh:

1. First and foremost, it is COLD outside- if you opt to have your delivery left outside, please arrange to have your flowers brought inside RIGHT AWAY. Flowers cannot withstand this weather and will freeze.

2. Change the water in your vase every other day, or even every day! Fresh water and a clean vase = happy flowers!

3. Trim the end of your stems on an angle every other day.

4. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight, in areas that are too hot (especially away from directly under vents etc), or too cold. Think about about Goldilocks!

5. Keep survival of the fittest in mind, as some of your more delicate blooms start to go, pull them out so they don’t contaminate the water. Enjoy the opportunity to redesign your flowers until you get down to a single stem, or better yet, until you can dry some of them!

6. And lastly, just remember that these are fresh, naturally grown products. One of life’s most magical reminders that nothing lasts forever and we should enjoy each beautiful moment in its passing rather than expecting things to last forever. Flowers are not meant to be a set it and forget it, last for weeks on end, type of purchase. They have a lifecycle, and that is part of their delicate beauty. Enjoy them for what they are and you’ll never be disappointed!

Join us for SNOWFALL, a special holiday photo mini series on Nov 4th and 5th at Breeze Hill Farm in Peconic. SNOWFALL will feature an exclusive winter wonderland floral installation, available only through private sessions, photographed by the ever so talented Leanne Gelish. Details: November 4th, 11am-5pm & November 5th, 11am-4pm (20 minute private sessions) Breeze Hill Farm: 31215 County Road - Route 48, Peconic, NY 11958 $175 per session Your ticket includes a private indoor 20-minute session, professionally photographed Leanne Gelish, with 20 edited high-res photos following the shoot. Weather permitting, there may be an opportunity for outdoor orchard photos as well. Complimentary cider and cider doughnuts will be provided. Don't forget to bring your furry friends- this photoshoot is dog-friendly! Advanced booking is required. Note: No cancellations or refunds.

::about last night…:: Pinch me, it was a dream! We had the honor of returning to @publictheaterny’s annual gala but even bigger this year! We created Neon Punk-themed growing garden centerpieces for all the tables at the star-studded event AND when the weather changed the plans for our DIY Wearable Punk Flower Bar, our team hustled their butts off backstage to design and distribute wearables to the guests. Peep some of the INCREDIBLE people (and broadway legends!) rocking our florals including @lin_manuel (eeepppp!!!) and @ms.uzele (!!!!!!). Thank you to everyone at The Public Theater and @empireentertainmentct for supporting small business, sustainable floristry and locally-grown flowers!!!! 😱🥹😍🙏🏼 ((photos by Simon Luethi))
