Our oldest daughter is ready to upgrade to something more advanced so she can get into barrel racing and such and our youngest daughter will transfer over to her sisters current horse!

So we are selling our 20 yr old sound registered sorrel/white mare.

OFFICIALLY OPEN and today was the GRAND OPENING of Happy Farm Mobile Petting Zoo and I want to say this……

Y’all made this grand opening event absolutely amazing! There were hundreds and hundreds of people.. maybe over 1,000 throughout the whole day! All of these people from our Huntsville and surrounding communities, friends, family and strangers! The lines were long for the petting zoo and the pony rides! It was perfect!

I’ll be honest, this successful day came with its fair share of stress! Got up at 5:30am.. had an employee call in last minute and left me stranded trying to figure out how we would manage Jump Around Moonwalks deliveries while I was trying to setup and run this grand opening event! And by the grace of God and good friendship.. Robert Franklin came in clutch to take care of our routes while we managed this event. For that I want to say thank you brother! You don’t know how much that meant to me.

Next I want to thank Bailey Kay York, Brandi Giddens and Dacy Lynn Snyder for all the help today. God y’all truly don’t know how much that meant to me also. It was so hot today dealing with all that equipment and animals and y’all stuck it through and made it happen!

Thanks to Justin Cody Killingsworth with The Color Bar- Huntsville for always being a great friend and having my back and supporting my businesses and family! I love you man! And just like that… Kindergarten is forever gone for my baby! 😭

I told Madison two things during the graduation yesterday.. “I’ll take the video when he walks across, you just watch. Sometimes I don’t think people realize that they focus so much on recording the memory that they don’t get to enjoy the memory. One day very very soon… he’s going to be walking the stage again for his high school graduation and we are going to wish we were sitting in these seats again watching his kindergarten graduation, enjoy every moment of this memory” 💙

😂😂 I felt bad for our new guy.. first day on his own he gets a flat tire on the trailer.. second day on his own the jack snaps off bc the ground was slightly inclined when he unhooked the trailer.

For the past month or so my daughter Avery thought we bought this horse to flip it at the auction. We took her and the horse to the auction last night to “sell” it and once we brought it into the auction.. they revealed it to her over the intercom that it was for her birthday and the whole place sang happy birthday to her! Mannn so you want to own a party rental company.. specifically a bounce house company?? Well let me tell you a little about it since Ive been doing it since 2006…

Today I had 3 separate school rentals in 3 separate towns. Huntsville, Madisonville and Conroe. Now since most schools want their setups up and ready to go usually by 8am.. you either have to setup SUPERRRR early or if possible, setup the day before and hope they are in “secure” areas for overnight!

Well yesterday I loaded up two brand new guys on their first day with me and we headed off to deliver Madisonville and Huntsville. As soon as we pull up, it starts pouring down. So the best decision in that moment was to just set them down rolled up and come back after the rain. Rain didn’t stop until 2am 😫

So at 5/6am this morning I go to Madisonville for a setup, one new guy goes to Willis for a setup and the other new guy goes to Huntsville for the third setup. I had to detour twice before making it to my destination and the Willis driver got a flat tire making it to his destination. Mind you all these inflatables needed to be cleaned on site bc it’s been raining all week and we couldn’t do it before hand. LONG STORY SHORT… we got it done, idk how, but we did!

On a side note.. I finally picked up one of those magnet rollers bc I am seriously becoming skeptical. Yes I will be upgrading tires as we go along. I just don’t want to get rid of brand new tires on the new trailer just to switch.

This picture I took today literally became a portal to my childhood…

Today we were roaming through Palestine… where I grew up from 4-13… from ages 4-10 I grew up on the property pictured below. My childhood home.

I haven’t been here in 23 years. Back then, my mother Brandi Giddens packed me up when I was 4 and moved from Houston Tx to Palestine Tx. City to literally as country as it got. A two bedroom wooden house in the middle of a cow pasture. A year later my mother met my dad John Giddens who raised me!

Back then my childhood was simple. I played with an imagination.. hot wheels in the dirt, homemade stilts, balancing on a wooden spool.. my grandfather even got me a four wheeler at one point! I had so many memories.. my mom accidentally ran over our dog, a cow got struck by lighting, i had a child good friend named Crystal who lived right up the road and was basically a sister to me.

Today, 23 years later, I walked up the overgrown forgotten driveway that I used to wait for my bus at. I climbed over the gate that seemed like it hasn’t been open since maybe the day we left. My daughter followed me.. a little older than the age I last saw our old driveway.. smothered in dirt and grass barely seen as we followed up to where the old wooden house would’ve been but I learned that long ago apparently a tornado came through and completely wiped away my childhood home.. memories made I’ll never get to touch again only remembered.

All that stood today was the soil I sprouted from and my daughter and I.. as I remembered so many good times when life was simple and innocent.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and I encourage everyone to take the time to show their kids your old childhood homes.. I promise you it releases so many emotions and felt good for the soul.
