Day 4 was the first day of the Tokyo Game Show. The line to get in was huge! It took us almost 2 hours before we got inside, which really shortened my cosplay time. They also changed the cosplay location. The new area was long, more narrow, and provided very little shade. At first I didn't like being forced to stand in a very sunny location. However, because it was so narrow it forced people to walk almost single file past every cosplayer, so I got a lot more attention this year, which worked out great for getting my picture taken. This was the best year so far for the number of people who took my picture and I had some fun interacting with some of the kids that walked by. I had a blast! I then learned from Kevin that there was a second cosplay area that was in a parking lot underneath a part of the building and so it was completely shaded. It was also packed with cosplayers, so there was no real spot for me to set up without stealing a piece of someone else's territory. I also had very little time to take pictures, which hurt the most. I'm determined to get more pictures tomorrow!
