Every year the Ohio River Arts Guild gives scholarships to art students. It’s a wonderful event. Come to the Cox building 2nd St near Market to revel in these young artist’s work and to receive their scholarship. See you there!

We have their art to share and Friday at 5:30 they will receive their scholarships! Please come fill the Cox and help us celebrate.

Bucky the Buccaneer - the mascot for Barry University has EVERYTHING!!!!!!
He has:
A tri-corner hat w/ a feather plume & some green fabric palm leaves
A green bandana under the stunning hat w/ a nice knot in the back
A fabulous bird head w/ and athletic helmet w/ a chin cup so the performer has steady vision - vision is through the beak.
A magnificent beak
A fabulous coat w/ gold trim, trim, trim and big cuffs and stunning button holes.
A stylish white pirate shirt w/ a red sash.
A leather, cross the shoulder belt to hold his sword
A sword
Red pantalòns
Boots w/ fold-down cuffs
a tri color tail that defies gravity
And a periscope.

We've been thinking about & talking about Jazzy & JAWZ - the Jaguars for IU Indy.

I had totally forgotten we had made a mask for JAWZ w/ holes for his prominent whiskers. Brilliant, I think.
