First bouquet of the season. First time having sweet William and lambs ear in the garden. Excited to see what’s going to pop next. Hopefully there will be enough flowers in the next couple of weeks to open the stand for the season!

Unpopular opinion…dahlias can be left in the ground over winter in Indiana and survive.

Last year, because of my laziness I left many dahlia tubers in the ground and the majority of them survived and produced beautiful blooms this year. So this winter I’m testing the waters again and leaving them in the ground. I will insulate them with leaves and grass clippings then crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. 🤞🏻
