Not only is "For (Tiny Room Sessions)" by Spirit Fingers on the NPR Music platform and featured as the WRTI Video of the Week but it's also the Song of the Day appearing on the homepage of several radio stations around the country. The video features Hadrien Feraud on bass, Mike Mitchell on drums, Dario Chiazzolino on guitar, and Greg Spero on piano. The track is an arrangement of Spirit Finger's song of the same name as their 2018 debut album. The track is meditative and takes you on a journey inward. In April to promote Jazz Appreciation Month, Greg Spero spoke to WRTI 90.1's J. Michael Harrison about growing up and finding music: copying his parents playing piano and composing at the age of 3. Beginning on April 12th, we officially commenced our partnership with WRTI. Each month, beginning in April and extending for the foreseeable future, WRTI features a new video from Tiny Room Sessions, the Greg Spero-produced series of video singles highlighting emerging artists like electric bassist MonoNeon, drummer Terreon “Tank” Gully, and the Spero-led Spirit Fingers, as NPR Live Sessions Video of the Week.
