Our family is truly humbled and honored by this recognition of Troy's hard work! He put his all in everything he did and it has been a privilege of ours to continue that!
A big congratulations to all the teams that received awards!! Also, a huge Thank You to all those people involved in including his name on this awesome state competition!!

At last years annual meeting our association made the decision change the name of our team of the year program. We did this to honor and remember a past member that was one of the best BBQ cooks to ever compete in the Great Lakes area. He was a true BBQ guy that brought a big personality add outstanding skill set to the competition arena. His passion for BBQ ran deep and was shared by his family! He proposed to his wife Sherri Conner at the Jack and they were married at the Royal. Folks that’s how much bbq and the people in bbq meant to him. That’s a true BBQ couple right there!
We would like to take a moment to thank his wife Sherri, his sister and daughters for joining us at our award’s banquet this past Saturday. Having Sherri present the awards for our inaugural Troy Conner Memorial Team of The Year program made it extra special! Ladies thank you all and thank you for carrying on his legacy with your catering company and his love for BBQ.

Great times were had again this year at the Silver lake Bbq comp. and apple fest. !! Congrats to all who walked and a Big wtg goes out to Cancer Sucks for taking GC and to Smokin Aces Crap Shoot for RGC ! Already can`t wait for next year !!

Monroe was a great time ! a big congrats to bavarian smoke on they`re first GC !!! as for us we had a couple 9th and 10th places in everything but the pork (20th) for a overall finish of you guessed it 10th ! Now we are on the edge of our seats with many waiting on the Jack Draw !! Good Luck to everyone !

U.P. `s Hog Wild Comp. never disappoints, we were priviledge to recieve two 1st place calls in chicken and brisket for a 3rd place overall finish ! As for pork ( 11th ) and ribs (18th) like small children, are now demanding some more attention ! C: But as always a great time and BIG congratrs to Bavarian Smoke on they`re first RSG and Foul Butt Bbq for they`re GC win!! Hoping to see everyone again next year !!!

The weather was perfect in auburn hills over the weekend, it was great seeing everyone ! BIG Congrats to the Motley Que Team on they`re Grand Championship!! Way to go guys !! We have some well deserved time off for a couple of weeks before we hit the road to the U.P. !!

Auburn Hills is our place of business this week, the month of june has been keeping us busy every weekend. Starting us off nicely in Armada with a first place overall finish, then to Traverse City to finish in a brutal 11th place ( damn chicken :0 ), Went for a three peat in Mount Morris landed 6th place overall aginst some great teams, Congrats to all who did walk ! And we`ll meet you on the Bbq trail !!
