Great News! Oscar & Ma is participating again this year in The Future is Working Giving Day, next Thursday, March 21, 2024. Joining together with 17 other nonprofits, we are raising money for a stronger workforce in Orange County.

Thanks to everyone's generous support last year, Oscar & Ma grew exponentially in 2023, expanding our Workforce Development job-skills & life-skills training to underserved people in Orange County through our partnerships with CalOptima and other nonprofits.

This year, we again hope to raise $25,000, with a matching grant of an additional $25,000.

Oscar & Ma is thrilled to announce a collaboration with The HUB Resource Center (The HUB OC) in Orange, and CalOptima. Working through CalOptima's CalAIM program, Oscar & Ma is now offering life and job skills classes at the HUB Resource Center for unhoused and underserved people in Orange County.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony announced the launch of this partnership. Mayor Dan Slater of the City of Orange, Board Members from the Chamber of Commerce, and Victor Mikhaeil, CalAIM Liaison from CalOptima attended.

Holiday Zimmerman, CEO of The HUB OC, Scott Green, Founder of Oscar & Ma, Donovan "Chip" Zielke, President of Oscar & Ma, and Kylee Simonton, Director of The HUB Resource Center cut the ribbon.
