It's really just donning on me but this month marks 20 years since I first picked up a camera and decided photography was for me at age 16.

It has definitely been a long and rewarding journey with ups and downs.

From Midlamd Valley Yearbook to USC Aiken Pacer Times, to Lifetouch and now as my own small business.

There was a time when I did all my work from my bicycle with some very cheap equipment. In fact I spent the entire time in high school working exclusively from bicycle just about.

I'm in the mood for sharing memories so if there's something I didn't share in the recent post that you think I should share please share it here everything's open for discussion.

Remember what I was talking about last week, last night an attack on me while I was photographing a subject may yet again make me reconsider nightlife photography.

Fournantley for me I had friends in the vicinity that made the guy disperse. He was cross dressed as a ho**er girl had dark hair and beard. The fact he barged in on my while I was photographing a subject let's me know that most people causing me problems are probably people who just mind their own business.

On one thought the events of last Friday night had me considering ending the nightlife photography lots enjoy. But this week I got to thinking back to 2020 when my operations were strictly outdoors and I was using my strobes to light up subjects I ways not seen from me before at the time. I had wrestled with the thought but realized I hadn't done like this since 2021 meaning that ever since my page got monetized my strobes have been idle. With your support this could change Halloween night as I have considered bring the strobes back to Augusta. Keep in mind this is a much more complicated operation than what many of you are use to seeing from me. Some of you have seen it but many my fans who liked the page during southbound outings may have never seen this demonstration of photographic might before so here's past examples below.

The events of last Friday had me down in the dumps and marred my birthday weekend, but they inspired to bring the old battleship out of retirement instead of giving up and demonstrate some real photographic firepower that many know I'm capable of already and those who don't will find out.

I haven't decided a location on Broad to stage at yet. Most likley it will be someone nearby where people I already know will be close or nearby Richmond County deputies. I will announce in time.

Unfortunately this outing will not be from the cart so I will likley be stationary as my car is not capable of carrying the cart, and subjects will have to come to me.

Photography will be free, but payment in tips could be accepted as option in cash, cash app $jjohns5182, and anyone who blows up the post with reactions, comments, shares, and views will contribute to the monetization of this page.

I'll admit I let what a few ignorant people said get me down, insults were from sources never expected and were sudden and without any warning I wanted to quit which would punish my fans who support me more than anyone. It's time to embarrass the radical minority who wants to cancel me. I will not use this page to publicly bash anyone by name, they will feel the bashing when they see the talent they insulted. But with 20 years behind the camera that's too far to go to allow things to go this way.

Folks it's the eve of my 36th birthday but I operate tonight under a mental cloud.

Tonight is likley my last night operating as a nightlife photographer, after the disgusting rumors I heard last night.

One or a few people have ruined something popular for everyone. This will likley be my last Augusta outing folder. If you are not happy with my decision please feel free to voice your displeasure so it reaches those who made it difficult for me to operate.

I will be at the Jack O' Laturn Jublee then later in downtown Augusta for those who want to see me. I will not be at my regular venue because the aforementioned drama.

It's never been a secret that mental health issues will kill you, and I've been dealing with them for the longest but when something bogus is used against me it amplifies the situation worse and increases rage. It's a funny thing that I even bring up rage because back whe. I was in high school rage was the product of most my success. It was never anything anyone did to me in school but certain family members counting me out before I had a chance. Back in the day I could use that rage to embarrass oposition and humble people I never thought possible. But today rage only takes a physical toll on me.

It's a fact that the reason why many of you love me is I was always good at converting rage into production. If I was a jedi I may have been Mace Windu. People admired my endurance. I'll tell you the endurance had not died!

Through my time as photographer I have been a Yearbook Photographer, USSA Pacer times photographer, Lifetouch photographer and operated a small business's. I have endured several mental and physical blows. As early as high school lots of people remember a terrible bike accident of which was life threatening. That accident still lives in my nightmares today. Yes I suffer from PTSD not on the level of a veteran but pretty close. I have had one too many close calls. I've seen things I'd rather not discuss.

True to my musical taste I love grunge rock, but the art you hear in their voices is an expression of their pain.

Folks please read carefully,

I know out of my nearly 4.5k followers that lots of people miss seeing me do public photography for them. This is usually free to participants but paid for by the Facebook monetization of my page.

Before hurricane Helene I was already struggling with mistakes made by an irresponsible associate.

Fast forward to October and issues have gotten worse. Damaged capital, and real life issues unrelated to photography have threatened my ability to operate normally.

In the real life catagory I work more than one job. A background check company known as Samba Safety botched my background check getting me deactivated which was my most profitable delivery ap. If and when a resolution to that comes remains to be seen. It's dragged on for about a month now. The biggest issue i face now I'd the uptick in workload. I am now having to drive up to 3 more hours a night to compensate for losses due to this. It's making the environment extremely non-conducive to running a business. My mental and physical state is pushed as often timed I'm on 3 hours or less of sleep and have to neglect routine physical workouts. Not to mention I work a day job full time as well. Longterm this can take a toll on health and the past few weeks the negative effects are starting to rear their ugly heads. It has negative effects on my everyday life and job performance.

As followers of this page any help to help promote my online store or keep the page active would be welcome.

I'm not asking for handouts but please understand for me to continue providing the followers of this page what they love this is nesscary.

If I sold 500 single greeting cards out this store a month at the very least, that could really narrow the playing field.

If there's something you love from me but can't find in the store let me know and I'll make it avaliable.

If this online store and the monetization numbers of my page could come together to generate the sane income I would've produced on Uber I'll happily ditch delivery driving. Problem is I'm not sure it's possible.
