One of my FAVORITE clients turned 13 this past weekend and requested this cake with a spin from, “The Summer I turned pretty”.

Hi friends!
First of all- I’d just like to take a moment to apologize for being MIA the last 12 months.

I always thought I would be able to jump right back into baking full time and taking orders full time once Saban got a little bit older and more, “independent”.

Let’s all take a moment to laugh.
That’s what I like to call, ✨first time mom delusional✨

HOWEVER, I really am ready to get back into baking again, and plan to start doing “pop-up” style sales when it gets a little bit cooler (mid-September?)

These will be honor system based pick ups- think farm stands you’ve seen on TikTok, from my house in Jackson.

Items will include:
- cookies 🍪
- cake slices (no frills, just flavors!)
- brownies

Michelle is a return client and i always love to see the party come together because they always go above and beyond anything i could imagine 🫶

I’ve been working on the filling ratio the past few days-

I personally prefer mine a bit runny (like the photo), but it’s a little messy 😅
So I’m working on finding a sweet spot!

Also waiting for a different mold to come in so I can make them a bit thicker for more filling !

Hi friends!
As most of you know, I became a mom to the most perfect little dude in July of last year 🫶

He is getting a bit more independent these days so I do have a little more free time than I used to, but I don’t want to use that free time doing anything other than what I ✨want✨

💖What does that mean going forward?!

I scaled back quite a bit on taking orders while I was pregnant, and even more after he arrived-
These days I am being extremely “picky” about what orders I take, and I believe it will be that way for the foreseeable future.

BUT I do have some fun things planned for the future!
• MUCH REQUESTED Dubai Chocolate Bars coming next week 🍫
• I’ve also been trialing the idea of a “not-so-farm stand” for porch pickup, but that’s a little while out 😅

As always I will keep you guys updated on any and everything we have planned & keep your eyes peeled for our first round of Dubai Chocolate Bars! ✨💖

I was SO excited to do this cake and i am obsessing over how it turned out!

Like went around talking to people about it and forcing them to look at the inspo pics for days leading up to it 😅

Thank you so much again for having me do another one of your sweet girls’ cakes, Taylor💙🩷
I hope she loved it as much as I did, and that her party was a blast 💥
