To our friends, neighbors, and Ixcanul family ❤️When we opened Ixcanul Guatemalan & Mexican Cuisine in early 2020, our dream was to share the authentic flavors of our Guatemalan heritage with the community we love. Just eight weeks later, the world changed. For six years, we’ve worked hard to stay open through the pandemic, economic shifts, and challenges we never expected. We stayed because this restaurant isn’t just a business — it’s how we support our family. Jackson is our home, and we want to be here for many years to come.

This isn’t easy to share, but during a really challenging time for our restaurant, many of you have asked how you can help. Right now, our dining room has been quieter, and the financial aftershocks of starting just before 2020 have caught up to us. To keep our doors open, we need help covering back rent and past-due payroll so we can care for our incredible team.

A loyal Ixcanul customer has helped us set up a GoFundMe for those who are able and want to support us. Every donation goes directly toward securing our lease and paying our staff. If you’re unable to give, sharing this post or continuing to show up means more than you know.
