I apologize in advance for the loooong but IMPORTANT post. 🙏🏽
As you may, or may not know, based on the email that was sent out by Trails CDD, there are currently 3 seats on the CDD Board that’s up for grabs!
The deadline to submit applications for these seats has passed and there are 2 applicants for each seat, for a total of 6 individuals who will be on the ballot for your voice to be heard in this November’s General Election!
🗣️ MY seat is one of the seats up for grabs so all available support is appreciated and I ask that you GO VOTE and let your voice be heard!!
🗳️ For CDD elections, the process will take place during the General Elections period when we are voting for the United States President, etc., and will be provided to the residents of our community on a SEPARATE ballot when going to the polls for the standard election process.
💺 FOR OFFICIAL PROGRESS THAT YOU CAN SEE, VOTE SEAT 1 FOR ASHLEY G!

The opponent running against me and my seat ( #1) is Chantel Douglas.
This individual resides in Phase 1 and her husband, Terence Douglas, ALREADY serves on the CDD Board. Although per Sunshine Laws, this isn’t a violation/conflict of interest, do you really want TWO voices from ONE household serving on a board of only five members to speak as the voices for the “entire” community?
It’s been stated on public record (past public meeting minutes) that Terence has displayed unethical behavior more than once while serving and being PAID to serve for this community, has voted against needed community policing efforts, and also against the coordination of food trucks or events being hosted by community volunteers for FREE! Instead, and only out of dislike for “me”, he’d rather PAY employees of the management company by the hour! 💸
Her husband, and Board Member, Terence has also already proven time and time again he’s only serving for his own personal agendas and NEVER for “the community!” Please don’t make the mistake of putting TWO wrong voices from the SAME household in control of the future decisions that pass for OUR community! ✊🏽
Chantel herself has also been on record in public meetings with oppositions to things that the community needs and has been asking for including new gym equipment, upgraded or repaired playground equipment, new pool furniture, and resurfacing, and other items WE as the COMMUNITY need and desire, and are long overdue for!
Chantel is also the individual who created and runs the “original” Wi******er Ridge “News” Page to where she silences and blocks people who don’t see, or fit into her or her husbands personal agendas and not allowing residents to post REAL “news” about HOAs, meetings, events that “she” isn’t involved in, etc.
It’s been clear for 4 years this couple has had personal vendettas against me, my efforts, my capabilities, my light .. they have stalked me, taken pictures of me while at the community pool, came after any good I’ve done (unsuccessfully), and while I see her being my opposition, intentionally, is just another petty and childish move on her part, the challenge is ACCEPTED and this is now a full blown political campaign and will be treated as such! ✊🏽 😊
But then again, do we expect anything less from a woman who asked the Trails CDD District to obtain all records and copies of my PERSONAL text messages, Facebook messages, and emails between myself and ANY residents in community or food truck vendors that I spoke to within a 3 year period?! 🤔😂 Also unsuccessful at obtaining!
I am running for seat NUMBER 1, and the other seats you will also be making a decision for are seats number 3 & 4!
I urge you to educate yourself on the other two seats, and four candidates up for election. Reach out to them personally, ask about their agendas, find out if they’re already committed and dedicated to the community and involved in positive and proactive measures for continuing growth and progression. These are the type of people we need!
