In Loving Memory of William “DJ Nando” Barnes

Dear Friends, Family, and the DJ Community,

Today, we take a moment to remember and honor the life and legacy of our brother, William “DJ Nando” Barnes. His presence was larger than life, and his influence on the music scene—especially in Atlanta—was undeniable.

DJ Nando was more than just a DJ; he was a visionary, a trendsetter, and a force in the industry who helped shape the sound of clubs, radio, and the streets. His ability to break records and put artists on the map was second to none. He had an ear for what was next and a heart that was always about elevating those around him.

Beyond the music, DJ Nando was a friend, a mentor, and a brother. His laughter, his energy, and his passion left a mark on everyone who knew him. He was dedicated to the culture, and his impact will never fade. Though he left us too soon, his legacy continues to live through every mix, every artist he helped, and every DJ he inspired.

We miss him dearly, but we will always celebrate his life and the memories he gave us. Let us continue to keep his spirit alive by supporting each other, pushing the culture forward, and never forgetting the passion he brought to the game.

Rest in power, DJ Nando. You are forever in our hearts.
