Nothing says fantasy like the sweet serenade of a violin. 🎻
And we’re bringing you just that.

Isabella Garcia showed an early interest in music. At age four she began studying violin and piano at age six. She performed in the Wilmington Junior Strings, and Wilmington Youth Symphony Orchestra. She studied violin privately with Redding Farlow Soderburg for nine years and then studied with Linda Estep for 4 years.

She is currently a Music and Spanish major at UNCW and is currently studying under Danijela Zezelj-Gualdi for violin. Her interests include, baking, traveling to new places, reading, and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys spending time with her family.After graduating college she plans to teach music.

Lara Buckheit, author of Our Immortal Hearts and the A Realm of Ash and Shadow saga, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Wilmington University, is a 2021 WriteMentor Mentee, an avid writer (and reader) of spice, and one time she met Taylor Swift’s dad. She started writing at a very young age, mostly fanfiction centered around women with daggers and men with devilish grins. And she hasn’t stopped since.

When not writing, Lara can be found drinking matcha, reading from her endless TBR pile, and obsessing over any and all romance. Lara currently lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with her husband, dog, and thirteen houseplants named after fictional characters.

✨Announcing Attending Author: Rietta Boksha✨

Rietta, a native of a south Chicago suburb, has been a storyteller from the start. From carrying a tape recorder everywhere as a child to writing her first book at fourteen, her passion for creativity has always shone brightly.
After earning a B.S. in Exercise Science from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Rietta embarked on a career as a trainer, helping others achieve their goals. However, her love for storytelling soon called her back to her true passion—writing.

Inspired by her own love story with her husband, Rietta penned A Walk to Forever, a heartfelt retelling of their journey together. Since then, she has authored six more books, with many more stories on the horizon.

Starfall Masquerade will bring you even more than authors and books. We want to fully immerse you in a fantasy world, so we’re bringing the live entertainment as well.

Our very own local artist Aubrey Gray will be live painting a beautiful fantasy-themed landscape during the masquerade.
mama.grays.brush has had her work featured in publications including British Vogue and The World of Interiors.
