jan thro april I will be studying in Arizona at umary’s Mary college!! I’m so excited for this opportunity for warm weather ;) and to meet new people. I will be bring my camera w me ofc and can’t wait to shoot in fun, new locations

when the Colby’s first reached out to me about their wedding I knew they were a bit older but that was about it. I hopped on a call w them & was shocked when I heard a voice comparable to my grandpas. why would someone at this age be getting married??

my answer came the wedding day when I saw Julie walking up the aisle as Steve sang to her “My One and Only Love” (sadly not on insta music). The couple was soon in tears of happiness and my allergies started acting up too.

they stood before an intimate gathering of close family & friends who all came out to hug & congratulate them after the ceremony before they headed over to the cutest little winery for a calm reception

ahhhhhhh, it's finally here!! this has been in the works for a hot second now and i'm so excited to finally be able to share with all of you!

as my style has changed leaning into a new name has felt more and more right. i've literally been brainstorming names for months and have finally felt like this is the right moment to do it. so, when that new website gets dropped (insert sick explosion emoji) it will be exactly how i want my business to be represented.

we aren't bright and airy, super smiley photos here. we're darker and more cinematic - documenting the days of your lives you never want to forget.

so yeah, that the new biz :) so excited to continue documenting your lives

when I say this was the most fun I’ve EVER had planning a shoot, I mean it was seriously the most fun

a couple days before my session with Paul and Jaycee I got a random text from Paul asking if we could talk about the shoot (all my prior communication had been with Jaycee). He said he had an idea for a surprise and was wondering if I would be “okay with helping him out”. I kid you not I texted back, “omg. I knew it. It’s happening” and he sent back “😂 yeah”

for the next couple days we secretly coordinated things through phone calls that he erased from his history as soon as he hung up (man was covering his bases well)

we even scheduled a day to go pick a spot so I would make sure I was hiding behind a good tree 😂

sooo basically what I’m saying is boys, be like Paul. the intentionality and care he put into this special moment for them was not only so fun to be included on but warmed my heart to see how much he loves her

unpopular opinion: i love nd fall

ok, here me out. the fact that it was literally 85 yesterday but these trees still have their gorgeous fall colors. & you can walk around in short again for just a lil longer before the snow comes. plusss who Mother Nature deserves to be able to change her mind too ;)

stepping into something new can be sooo scary, & it should be.

whether that’s a new job, new school, new community, new season of life, etc. It. Should. Be. Scary. Because that means your making progress.

Taking photography more seriously is terrifying because I know it could crash and burn or it could be the most rewarding decision I’ll ever make. I want to capture life’s happy moments and if I can do that for the rest of my life for all my lovely clients isn’t that worth the risk??

Go take that risk and work towards the life you’ve always wanted to live :)
