Rest in Peace Merle Haggard and Happy Heavenly Birthday. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting you in Bismarck Summer of 1990. We had once in a lifetime opportunity to enjoying a few brews back stage with your band The Strangers and your 2nd X-wife Bonnie Owens. Bonnie woke Merle up and he came off the bus to meet us. This will be a memory I will treasure forever. May you and Bonnie continue to sing and harmonize in the heavens.
