Happy Thanksgiving to all.
As you prepare for the new year, remember we do still have room in our January 11-12 UKC Nosework Trial in Joliet, Il. Send your entries! HOWEVER, our systems will be down for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades for the next two weeks. All entries that have been received, have been entered and confirmation emails have been sent. Everything received after today, will be entered on December 16th. No fear, with four judges, we have plenty of room for everyone!

Yea!! 🥳 🎉 What a great weekend with Dennis and Becky. Thank you to all the participants who joined us. We hope you had a great time playing with your dog!! Hats off to Nikki and Nancy who did a fabulous job hosting this weekend.
Our hearts are so full with your support and generosity towards Laura during her recovery.

For both seminar attendees and everyone else:
We will be sending a gift basket for Laura to Iowa with Dennis next week, following the seminar. If you would like to contribute to the basket, please feel free to send things to me (my home, work, or contact me to make arrangements so I can meet you for pickup).

For those looking for suggestions, here are some thoughts:
We are happy to include whatever you would like to donate. Suggestions include: cards and letters of well wishes, socks, warm hats, lap blankets, mints, hard candies, lip balm, lotion, adult coloring books and crayons/pencils, books on dogs (particularly SAR), gift cards to restaurants/grocery stores (or general use gift cards).

4G&TB is a not for profit club composed of members interested in growing dog sports through practice, trials and education. Our mission is to spread the availability of dog sports to the Chicago suburbs of Illinois and surrounding states. We currently host nose work trial events for UKC, C-WAGS, and NACSW and fun matches for practice and trial preparation. We understand the commitment you have made to have a dog. We would like to offer the opportunity for you and your dog to play with us! We welcome all competitors, novice to seasoned veterans, willing to learn, share their knowledge, practice, play and compete. Join us in building a strong relationship with your dog through nose work, games and hands on seminars. We welcome your feedback for additional activities and sports the dog sport community would like to participate in. Always keep in mind, the key to being successful with your dog is to have fun! While we welcome everyone, we highly encourage good sportsmanship between the dog/handler team and other teams.
