You guys!!!! I caught 2 fish today! We may have to celebrate with a fish dinner soon. First fish weighed 2.26lbs/RIGHT under 16”. I won $700. Second fish was a 3.40 lb/19”. It did not qualify. Fish can not be between 16-24”. So sad! He was so pretty! I hope everyone has a great weekend. See ya on Tuesday.
The store will be closed until Tuesday as I venture to Texas for a Bass Tournament. Wish us LUCK!

What a WILD week! Here's a recap of all the things we (Judy Guthrie & I) had going on. I apologize if you missed us at the store. I'm working on getting someone in the store on a regular schedule so that we can offer lunches everyday and have our walk-in business back up and running.

Friday - catered dinner at ASU Judd Hill Farmers Market & trip to West Memphis to FINALLY buy a vehicle to haul all my catering equipment and food!!!
Saturday - catered wedding shower at a customers residence

Day #5 of Kids Summer Cooking Classes was a real hoot! The little ones whipped up some tasty Breakfast Burritos and Taco Cups with Wontons, and even got to play with some Play-Doh and decorate some cookies. And let's not forget the real showstopper - they helped me prep a fruit and veggie tray for a customer and practiced their knife skills like little culinary pros!
Day 4 of Kids Summer Cooking Classes was a riot! We giggled our way through making fluffy Biscuits & Yummy Chocolate Gravy. For lunch, our little chefs whipped up Meatball Cupcakes and got creative with their food by building Charcuteroe Boards. To top it off, we had a blast making vibrant Play-Doh!
Day 3 of Kids Summer Cooking Classes was a comical adventure! We created tasty French Toast Sliders and Edible Slime that surprisingly turned out to be putty. The kids enjoyed making Tater Tot Casserole, and we even got Rilee to take a bite despite her reservations. It was a day filled with teamwork, sharing, and exploring new flavors!
I just baked, sliced and wrapped “100” biscuits & sausage. Brings me back to my cafeteria days.

We made EXTRA BBQ Pork Sliders!!! Stop in and grab a dozen for supper or an easy lunch for the kids this week. $18/dz
Private Work Party Cooking Class! They requested an Italian theme. We made Focaccia Bread Art, Spinach Lasagna Roll Ups & Chocolate Salami. Everyone had a GREAT time. I will definitely be doing this class again the future.
This week has been FULL of laughter with 5 Christmas Tree Charcuterie Classes. Here are a few pics of some amazing ladies just hanging out, girl talk, catching up with old friends, sharing yummy snacks and making new friends.

How long do you guys let your Green Beans boil? TIP: add a little bit of sugar & olive oil to your green beans with the juice out of can and boil until they’re frying. The oil n sugar will caramelize and create the BEST ever Green Bean flavor. Give it a try.
I'm still in shock! I could have never imagined all the love and support I've received from taking the leap of faith to pursue my passion. A Special thanks to all my supporters, friends and family who pushed me for years to open my own place.
