We've been super busy this week putting the final plans in place for this weekend's wedding plans for Emily and Justin. They have been incredible to work with and we are super-excited to celebrate with them.

We are equally excited for Tiffany and Jordan. Their wedding is in a couple of weeks and tonight we finalized everything needed for their special day. We met them over a year ago and they have planned such a special day.

To all of our brides/grooms: Take time to soak it all in; all of the planning, decisions, long video calls, timelines, song choices, food, decor -- everything it takes to plan a wedding. Take every opportunity to share those moments as a couple. Weddings are meant to be remembered for a lifetime. All of the work leading up to the 1 big day is also a big part of the celebration!

After today's meet/greet and wedding discussion, I'm very pleased to say that Kaitlyn and Noah have asked us to be a part of their special day. They have reserved their date on our event calendar and we are super excited to work with them. In fact, after our meeting they began planning almost immediately. We are excited to get to work with them and help bring a little magic to their wedding day.

Tonight, we welcome our newest clients, Haylee and Nick, who have asked us to be a part of their special day. They scooped up an open weekend in late summer and we couldn't be happier to work with them. We're also excited to play a new venue for us in Abingdon, VA built in 1790. We are stoked!

Haylee and Nick - thank you for your business and we can't wait to parter with the two of you in planning your wedding day!!

Many, many years ago the Lord blessed us with two very special friends. We’ve done so many things thru the years with them. We’ve created so many memories and tonight we celebrated another opportunity to have a few laughs and have a meal together with them. Life gets in the way and schedules don’t always align but whenever possible take the opportunity to share life with friends. Way too often time isn’t on our side. That’s our word of advice to all of you! Everyone have a blessed day and thank you for following our musical journey.

We believe meeting certain people in life is no accident. Approximately 12 years ago, I met a young man who happened to be getting into the same line of work as me. As I recall, one of our first conversations was about largemouth and smallmouth bass on Watauga and Boone lake. As time passed, he and I worked in separate areas so we don't see each other too often.

I met this sweet lady last October at a wedding. As we began to talk I discovered she is the mother of my work buddy. Tonight, I met his sweet fiance and together they asked us to be a part of their special day this coming fall. We happened to have a cancellation on the date they needed so they scooped up the vacancy. Chance or coincidence? Perhaps. But we choose to believe in fate and meaning.

Beth and Nathan, we cannot wait to celebrate with you both!! 😀

Last night we had a wonderful meeting to discuss the details for what promises to be a beautiful Christmas wedding for Chelsea and Josh and tonight we met with Emma and Ethan to discuss their summertime wedding plans. Planning and discussions take time, energy and effort but pay off in huge dividends come wedding time. To all of our 2025 couples, we are so excited. Let's get it done!!

It’s so nice to run into brides, grooms, family members and friends of our clients from past years. Crisada Buckland it was great to see you in passing this week. I wish I would have taken more time to catch up and hopefully can do that soon. ☺️

To all of our past clients, we always enjoy even a quick hello. Each wedding brings back memories that help to keep smiles in our heart.

Just over 1 year ago, we met with a couple inside of the coffee shop at Ingle's grocery store. We talked to them about our services and discussed their wedding day vision. We solidified our arrangement with them at that time. Tonight, we rekindled that same excitement as we put pen to paper in planning the details of their wedding day. And to our surprise, we are excited to learn we are working with Sassafras and we absolutely cannot wait! So I'll say this again, to Jordon and Tiffany, thank you so much for your business and your friendship. We are so very excited for you both!

Tonight, we welcome our newest couple to the Greenwood Party Mixers family of clients. They have secured their date to be married this coming fall. Tonight, we met with them and we couldn't be happier that they welcomed us in as a part of their special day. Our future brides and grooms are so wonderful! Tonight, we met with one of our spring wedding clients. It was so much fun to have dinner with them. We laughed and enjoyed our time with them as we started putting pen to paper in working out the details. We still have a small amount of work to do before we can officially say "we're ready". But we are close.

On the drive home we were fortunate to be able to book another client for a late summer weekend we still had available. We welcome Emma and Ethan to the GPMixers Family of Clients. We are very excited to meet them and work through the planning process with them.

2024 was a tough but great year for us. In many ways, it gave us a new vision for what we do. 2025 is shaping up very good. We are super-happy about the way things are coming together. Thank you to everyone for following us and believing in us. We couldn't do this gig without the support of our Facebook Family.

We had a blast playing the Military Ball at Westridge HS. The students are always AMAZING. They are so very kind and well behaved. They are always thanking us and offering to help. We love this student body, staff, boosters and parents alike. Thank you for giving us 15 years of gratefulness. Here’s to 15 more!
