Thank you to my favorite local group; The American Legion Auxiliary, for asking me to assist in preparing their main dish and a few sides today. I used a Garlic Pepper Seasoning, Town and Country Brand, and it was terrific. Also thank you to the Methodist Church and the use of their commercial kitchen for the event. Many hands make light work my Nana Jo used to say. We fed 106-ish today. Also thank you to the Mauws Ranch for their help today!

An upcoming menu for one of my favorite clients:

An informal buffet of locally sourced pulled roast beef on homemade buns with optional provolone cheese, sautee button mushrooms and carmelized onions. A spring salad with fresh berries, cherry tomatoes and cucumbers with toasted almonds. A bacon ranch potato salad and cream puffs with sweet cream and macerated strawberries.

We are having a slight delay! Waiting on the kitchen for a little bit longer! All should be well with the world very soon! If any brides, grooms or folks looking for a future event next winter or summer are interested in a mass tasting, I would enjoy speaking with you! I’ll roll out a sample menu for you all to come see and taste. If you want to share this info with a friend, let me know. We can do small things after June 1st. I’m glad we aren’t starting a restaurant. It’s important to do the retail food licensing exactly right for me when it comes to sanitation laws, insurance etc. The business is firmly planted with the state so we are very thankful for that!

The check is in the mail today for our official Retail Food License. I hope you will see us at Farmers Markets this summer! We are booking for the fall and spring for larger events. We have a menu to choose from, or can customize a menu! Prices generally will run from @$10 and up per person up for large group catering. Ideas to make any event for any budget special and delicious.

Bruschetta Pomodoro
Classic crispy bread grilled with olive oil and rubbed with fresh garlic. Topped with ripe red tomatoes and a chiffonade of basil. Sea Salt, Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil.

Chicken Picatta
Dredged Chicken with a sauce of white wine, chicken stock and capers, drenched in Parmesan cheese and served over penne pasta. Roasted Greenbeans.

Dessert
Affagato. Vanilla bean ice cream served with fresh hot espresso over the top, grated chocolate and orange zest. Nothing so simple will impress you more.
