Kailua has a rich Hawaiian history and heritage. Kanikapila in Kailua is all about bringing Hawaiian music to Kailua….FREE, every second Saturday! A & B has generously sponsored this monthly event, along with the monthly "I Love Hula" series. Their desire to perpetuate Hawaiian culture in Kailua has been a blessing to many. Kawika Kahiapo has partnered to host this event.

I will be performing with Kulāiwi (Lehua Kalima and Shawn Pimental), in a couple of weeks at our FREE monthly Kanikapila in Kailua on Saturday, August 9 at 4-5:30 pm at the Kailua Town Center, parking deck across Long's. Bring a chair in case you need to give yours up for our kupuna.

🎶❤️🎶 We are in for a GREAT PERFORMANCE on Saturday, March 8, featuring Slack Key Master, Ken Emerson, who will be on island just for this performance! Emerson won the prestigious Kahili Award for perpetuating Hawaiian culture and was a featured artist and composer on the first-ever Grammy Award-winning Best Hawaiian Album.

✨✨ Pack a chair in case you have to give yours to one of our Kupuna. Nothing like seeing our Kupuna with da big smiles!!! We will be in the parking deck across Long's at the Kailua Town Center.

George Kuo is known as one of Hawaii’s premiere Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar artists playing in the traditional nahenahe (sweet, soothing) style.
