RIP

It's with a heavy heart we are sharing that our longtime friend and colleague radio legend Slacker from 101 KCFX passed away peacefully in his home at 5am this morning. Slacker had been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia that sadly proved incurable. His strength and resolve when faced with this news was humbling, his thoughts and energy were immediately refocused on taking care of his family and loved ones, he spent his days connecting with friends saying everything that needed to be said, he left no one untold of the love he had for them and had so much forgiveness in his heart for past moments that had gone unresolved. Most of us met Slacker through his incredible radio career where he lived his life on air with an authenticity that we came to expect.. but I will tell you, the Slacker that we saw face a terminal illness with unmatched strength, resolve and grace was the kind of inner character rarely seen in this world. We will remember you far longer than we were lucky enough to know you my friend.
