Then 75th Street Events wants to talk to you.
It hopes to host a Valentine’s Day wedding event for up to 10 couples.
“We wanted to do something totally different,” said Laura Turley, co-owner. “All 10 couples will tie the knot at the same time and there will be a professional photographer to capture their first kiss as a married couple.”
After the ceremony, 75th Street Events will host a party with a DJ, hors d'oeuvres, a bottle of champagne for each couple, an open bar and more professional photos.
The couple will get flowers - bouquets, boutonnieres. They can invite up to six people. The cost is $1,500 per couple.
Reporter note: Just thought this sounded like a fun idea in my Waldo neighborhood. If it comes together, I will try to post a reel of the couples.
