UMKC Composers' Guild

The UMKC Composers' Guild is made up of all current undergraduate, master's and doctoral composition students in the Conservatory of Music.

The Composers' Guild produces two concerts on campus per semester featuring new student compositions and occasional off campus concerts.

Mark your calendars for the second Composers’ Guild concert of the season, October 24th, 2023, at 7:30 PM in the Grant Recital Hall! In this concert of new works, bask in the beauty and uncertainty of darkness, the nostalgia and regret of reminiscence, and all the complexities in between.

Nocturnes and Memories features music by Leyou Wang, Benjamin Rouder, Jiaqi Wang, Yimian Mi, Ian Chung, Zach Tesch, James Taylor, and Anna M. DiMaggio.
