A little lesson: In 1931, our fourth and fifth floors consisted of an auditorium seating 1,000, with equipment for movies and sound reproduction. Plush as well as functional, the Thomas A. Edison Auditorium featured pink Tennessee marble wainscoting, carpeted aisles, stone-textured painted walls, and an ornamental plaster ceiling containing sunken, decorative glass panels for indirect lighting.

From custom banquet chairs to original art déco lanterns, every detail of The Grand Hall has been artfully chosen or carefully restored to exude classic glamour.

While the space can accommodate up to 500 guests, it allows creativity within the layouts to give a 150-guest event a unique and intimate feel. When you reserve The Grand Hall, you’ll have access to our two beautifully furnished suites and plush seating areas on the Mezzanine.
