I don’t know which is better—to walk into Chantelle’s Bridal and see all of the beautiful dresses or to hear the gasps, Ohhs and Awes from clients as the come in for their appointments. This is such an amazing business---being able to help our clients find their perfect gowns. There is just no better feeling. And speaking of feelings, this is the time of year when our eyes sparkle a little more brighter, our steps are a little lighter, and our smiles are wider. What a great time of year. We hope everyone has a magical holiday!

Silelnce is Golden, but not on Facebook, so you'll be seeing more information from us now. Right now, the back of the shop looks like a shoe store!!! Jan got carried away and bought a bunch of oh so sassy, sexy, flashy, not flashy shoes and now we need to sell them so we have some room! We're going right to SALE Mode on these, so take a peek on Saturday when we'll have photos and prices. You're going to LOVE them!!!

Oh My Gosh!!! Look at this dress!!! So simple and so beautiful. Remember...dresses hanging on the rack just don't look like this...you need a body in it to really see how beautiful it can be. Sometimes, simple is more beautiful!

Holidays are a time for family and we want our team to be able to spend the holiday with their families. So, we will be closed Good Friday through Monday, April 5th. We will be making appointments beginning April 6th. We wish a peaceful holiday filled with renewal and hope for 2021.

Proms will happen this year one way or another—I’m convinced of that. I’ve heard about many unique ideas for doing this like having your own party, renting your own venue and going for it, etc. so I thought I’d show you some of the gowns we have in the shop. Most of these are NOT reorderable which is why I’m concerned about you getting in early to buy your gowns. What we have on the racks is a lot, but I won’t be able to reorder in different sizes. I’ve done my best to bring in all sizes, so make an appointment and come in.

Our chandeliers were installed yesterday!!! We LOVE them! Ken and Kai assembled them--that was a job! Thankyou and a big thanks to Abraham and his crew from Tadeo Electric for the amazing job of installing them!!! What do you think? Let us know..

Chantelle has been overwhelming and we just wanted to thank everyone who has made an appointment, come in and left with a stunning new gown. We are so proud of our inventory and the designers we carry, but what is most gratifying is when YOU love the dresses as much as we do! We sense life returning in spite of COVID and a new hope is emerging as the desert begins to take on the pale green hue of Spring. Brides are buying dresses, families are booking their venues, and girls are buying Prom gowns determined to not repeat the loss of 2020. We are honored to be included in this emergence and are committed to creating everlasting memories as we all awaken to a new life in 2021. Enjoy our gowns as Erika (Left) and Joy are. They are so beautiful!

We have managed to get our beautiful shop open and have had several friends brave the snow and make their way through the doors to get a “bling fix” and see our dresses, shoes, and fun bits first hand. And, thanks to one of our team members, Joy who put us in touch with Ann Spilman, Director at the Academy of Children’s Theatre who graciously accepted our plea to participate at such a late date in their Virtual Fundraising Auction, February 20, 2021. I just have to share a sweet valentine event that happened today. My hubby, Ken, called me to say that he was bringing in lunch. My response was “Oh, love, that’s OK. I can come home. He countered with” No, I’m bringing lunch!” so I thanked him and continued working. When he got to the door, Erika, our wonderful Sales Manager, started to open the door for him, then looked out the window, pointed and exclaimed “OH Look! What’s out there?!! I quickly looked out but couldn’t see anything, so I turned around to ask her where I should look and there was Ken with a big heart shaped box, a lovely potted flower AND lunch for everyone. He walked around the counter and with a kiss and said “Happy Valentine’s Day” as he handed me a box of chocolates and flower. Tears sprang into my eyes as I smiled up at him with true gratitude in my heart. You see, this was very special for both of us because we were lucky that we were even able to be in this position today. We moved to Kennewick from the Settle area last October 6th (2020) and on November 6th a month later, I had a stroke. I was transported to TRIOS where we were ripped apart because of COVID. I lay alone in the hospital bed, unable to move, while he sat outside the hospital in the car for 6 hours before he knew if I was alive or dead. Then I was transferred to Lourdes and was still not able to see him for almost a week. I finally managed to get home in a wheelchair and this amazing man took care of me day and night. With his dedication and the expert Physical therapists at Lourdes, I am now walking with and without a cane. More important, I am still alive to spend another Valentine’s Day with my sweetheart and lifemate. We are truly blessed and wish blessings and happiness for each and everyone of you. Jan

Excitement is in the air around Chantelle's Bridal & Formal Boutique---we are planning our Grand Opening that will coincide with Valentine's Day. In order to comply with COVID restrictions, we will have to limit the number of people in the shop, so over the next day or two, you will see times available to make appointments so we can ensure that everyone has a great time. AND, we will have two Trunk shows overflowing with 2022 gowns from two of our amazing designers Watters and EddyK. Stay tuned for details.
