Its Tennessee Tuesday so you know what that means! Time to highlight some great Tennessee Whiskey! I can’t think of one more worthy of the shout out that Company Distilling! Almost one year ago I made my second trip in as many months to Company for the Townsend Grains and Grits Festival (which is sold out yet again this year by the way) and a stop with some of my Bourbob Thieves friends. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting their Whiskey Hall of Fame Master Distiller, Jeff Arnett! Jeff released this first edition Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey that is finished, like the flagship product, with Maple Wood. Coming in at 60.5% ABV (121 proof) this is some seriously good higher proof stuff! Since grabbing this one, Company had continue to expand their product portfolio to offer Rye, other wood finishing, and…beer!
If you haven’t made it to Company Distilling in Townsend or their other location in Thompson Station you are truly missing out at an opportunity for a great to to and enjoy some time with friends, family and some fine Tennessee spirits. Cheers!

Happy Weekend! Let’s have a little fun making a cocktail with ingredients from two great local “GOATS”! B&B Package Ezra Brooks Cask Strength Store Pick (collab. w/ us) and the local coffee roasters, Old Goat, with their Bourbon Reserve barrel aged whole bean!
This is the Keto version of a Bourbon Espresso Martini. What makes it keto? No simple syrup or sugar! Straight up! So, I called this the Cold Brew Cocktail!
2 oz. Ezra Brooks Cask Strength 120 proof 🥃
2 oz Old Goat Coffee Bourbon Reserve brewed espresso style ☕️
- add to shaker 3/4 full of ice.
- shake vigorously for 30-45 seconds
- strain into Mason jar! 🫙
