MONDAY 11/10: Red beans and rice made with ham hocks, pickled pork and andouille sausage served with cast iron skillet honey cornbread.
TUESDAY 11/11: Garlic butter New York Strip bites stuffed in baked potatoes and smothered in parmesan cream sauce. Served with cucumber-tomato salad.
WEDNESDAY 11/12: Creamy white wine chicken stew filled with carrots, celery, onions, potatoes and fresh herbs. Served with scratch made beer bread.
THURSDAY 11/13: Pastitsio “Greek Lasagna” Layers of tender pasta, a rich, savory ground beef sauce infused with aromatic spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, all crowned with a luxuriously creamy, golden-brown béchamel. I was amazed how well this dish came out the first time I made it. I received compliments from every customer that ordered it. Don’t miss out on this one!
FRIDAY 11/14: Pecan crusted chicken with bourbon cream sauce,
rice pilaf and bacon & onion green beans.
Soup of the week: Cabbage roll soup - all the goodness of cabbage rolls in a soup! I always sell out of this one so get your orders in quick before I run out. Perfect for lunch this chilly week.
Dinners are served hot and ready to eat 5-6:00 pm at The Cove on Hamblen (1101 Hamblen Road in Forest Cove). Come early to enjoy a cold craft beer or glass of wine. Dining is available inside or on the covered patio as well.
Dinners can be ordered in advance or on the day you would like dinner if placed by 10:00 AM.
