Courtney and Matthew had the most beautiful day for their summer wedding at Maple Grove Estate. Equipped with stunning florals, the sweetest bridal party members, and a packed dance floor. The bride and her mother thrifted all the mismatched goblets that lit up the reception space with pops of color.

Let’s give some credit for the reception photos because we don’t see enough of them. I love the emotions and energy that are captured in photos of the dance floor. One thing for sure is Jake & Deanna know how to throw a party and their dance floor was a true reflection of that. Props to Jason for keeping the party going all night!

How cute are these flower baskets for you and the bridesmaids instead of the the traditional bouquets? I loved how creative Amanda was and how she executed these. She also added in some of her mother’s silk flowers from her wedding day into her own flower basket which was the sweetest touch.

Amanda & Bobby

This was my first “cottage-core” themed wedding and let me just tell you how beautiful it was. Amanda is a wedding and anime photographer herself so not only was I honored to be hired by another professional, but the thought and attention to detail that they put into this wedding was so impressive. They have the most creative group of friends and had so many involved in various parts of the wedding day from the the guest book, cake topper, signage and even helping the couple collect the mismatched water goblets from every local thrift store over the last few months. They had a beautiful ceremony, yummy grilled cheeses made to order during the reception, and an awesome dance floor to end the night and I don’t think I saw either of them without a smile at any point throughout the day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Priester on your new chapter as husband and wife!

One thing I love to do during my weddings is have the bridal party follow the bride and groom after the ceremony recessional because of the CANDIDS. Seriously these are some of my favorite photos to see in a gallery because of the pure happiness and joy that the couples witness with their closest people celebrating them. No matter what type of venue you’re at, I promise they will be great!
