South Knoxville has ALWAYS been the place to be. We are so happy to be a part of the SoKno cityscape. We love our community so much! Just across that hill & on the right is our historic complex. What once was the primary gateway to the Smoky Mountains is now our gateway to the Urban Wilderness. South Knoxville is so rich in adventure, culture, and community.

Today is the last day to submit art for the September First Friday Art Show!
First Friday Art Show Call
September: Elements of Art (Art inspired by the four elements) Water, earth, fire, and air. The elements of life and all that is, and all that will be. This September, our art show will celebrate the movement of wind, the cool rush of water, the sweet heat of fire, and the strength of the Earth. Art submitted should feature and embody any of the four elements! Submissions need to be brought to South Press by September 2nd and picked up on September 30th. Any skill level is welcome and encouraged! If your art is not picked up by October 3rd, we will consider it a donation and harbor the elements. No take-backsy (unless you ask nicely).

Trans People Are Magic Cabaret presented another installment Saturday night. It was a wonderful night of trans joy, allyship, and community. Special thanks to for producing the show and all the entertainers who donated their time and talent to uplift transgender lives through legal name changes.

We couldn't have done it without you!
Also, special thanks to for providing production support and keeping the night moving along.
Our amazing South Press team Bransen & Gary served you up the best hospitality in town, and I am so grateful for their contributions to our community space.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who filled the space and donated through venmo. You all are empowering trans joy and providing life changing aid. This brings the grand total of name changes funded to 109 since the program started.
Trans People ARE Magic, and that magic is in community. My heart is so full. Thank you ALL so much!
