Here's your reminder if you're in zone 7a! If you still have ranunculus corms needing to be planted, get them in the ground before February or pre-sprout then now! I've found ranunculus corms planted in February don't have enough time to bloom before summer heat arrives in May, so I shoot for my last succession to be planted in January.

🍠 Here's your mid-winter reminder! If you're storing dahlia tubers, be sure to check on them! Make sure to pull any that are rotting or shrivelled beyond recognition to keep the remaining tubers from rotting.

Prepping for Valentine's diy cookie boxes ❤️ these chocolate sugar cookies are so good!

They'll be just like the DIY Sugar Cookie boxes at Christmas time: sprinkles, cookies and royal icing, just different shapes and the option of vanilla bean or chocolate sugar cookies 🍪😋

It's porch pick up day! A day early because of the snowy forecast for tomorrow.

For extras I have 3 1/4 pan servings of coffee cake with pecans (pictures above). These 4"x4" squares make a delicious morning treat or are big enough to make into two servings.
