My biggest piece of advice to all of those sweet couples starting the wedding planning process?

✨Reach out to your priority vendors first!✨

Your VIVs (very important vendors 😉) will be the ones to share their availability, recommend the best of the best, and help answer some of those big questions for you!

Waking up to an inbox full of inquiries is a great way to kick off the New Year, but having to respond back with “I’m already booked…” is such a bummer.

Christmas came a little early for us this year…

We’re the *official* owners of our building! ✨

It’s definitely a pinch me moment. When I started my photography biz over ten years ago, I honestly just wanted something to add a bit of color to my life outside of my intense career as an ICU nurse. I never could have imagined that it would have blossomed into what it has and I would have the ability to purchase an entire building.

If I’m being honest, I work insane hours and hustle harder than I did as a nurse. It’s just different when it’s working towards something you love and you’re showing your kiddo that you can truly do anything you put your whole heart into.

…and this, my friends, was truly the best way to wrap up the year!

Parker & Max envisioned a massive celebration with family and friends, which is EXACTLY what they had! From s***t shooting in the morning to carousel rides by night, this incredible day was a blast from start to finish.

The best part? Late night snack delivery from of course! 😘

Erin & Jon had the most quintessential Washington DC wedding day, which even included a red carpet roll out and photo op with this year’s presidential pardon turkeys!

From start to finish, this day was full of laughter and opulence. I’d never have it any other way!

Undeniably blessed.

As I touch base with all of my family and friends who have been stranded in their homes with no power, no road access, and limited resources — we have been undeniably blessed.

Our basement flooded, but other than that we are safe and able to continue with our lives as normal. This hurricane truly devastated our small communities in Southwest Virginia & East Tennessee.

If you can, please help these rural communities in any way you can. I’ll share links in my stories with ways you can help from near or afar. It will truly take years to recover from Hurricane Helene, but getting through these next couple of weeks & months will be the hardest. 💔
