Group photos are a great way to get a picture with everyone at your wedding all at once AND it's an even better way to open up your dance floor! Plus no one can say they won't get up and dance because they're already on the dance floor 😄

We had to take a moment to highlight the beautiful Knoxville Botanical Gardens 🌿
This venue is a stunning spot for a spring or summer wedding. Everything around is blooming & it makes perfect wedding pictures!
The reception space at the Dogwood Center is perfect with all the windows around to let in all the natural light and has lots of space for all your favorite people!

Fur babies 🐾 | We get asked all the time how to add a piece of your fur babies to your big day! Sometimes the venues won't allow animals or due to travel they are not able to make the trip with you.

🥰 FIRST LOOK OR CEREMONY? | You may be trying to decide for your big day if you would prefer to do a first look before the ceremony or wait until the ceremony and have your moment down the aisle.
Sometimes the first look helps get the wedding day jitters out, however some couples prefer the anticipation of seeing each other for the first time.
Both have their benefits & as every decision you make on your big day it's all depending on what fits your alls story best!

Rachel & Carter had a stunning downtown spring wedding at the Knoxville Museum of Art! 🎨
Remember how we told you to stay tuned.. listen to this: we found out that bride Sidney in Charleston (check out Monday's post) and bride Rachel in Knoxville were sorority sisters at UT! The two both hired AWP for their spring weddings in two different states, without knowing it!!

We thought it was time to put a spotlight on our fearless leader Angie Froemel today!
Angie created AWP after she discovered her gifts in planning, coordinating, & directing while doing her then career of news producing. So in 2008 she decided to switch career paths into the wedding world where she created Absolute Wedding Perfection! 💍
AWP has been based in Knoxville, TN for over 15 years. In 2021 Angie extended the AWP reach to Charleston, SC where she now calls home.
Angie is boots on the ground over in Charleston on wedding days & she over sees all details for weddings here in Knoxville, TN where either myself Hannah or Jenna are boots on the ground!
Angie shares an amazing wealth of knowledge to all of our couples and to say she's incredibly talented at what she does would be an understatement! ✨

SWEETHEART vs HEAD TABLE | When planning our your big day, you might have to decide on how you and your partner want to set up your reception table. You have lots of options and there is no wrong answer!
Sweetheart tables | gives you the privacy to enjoy your first meal as a newlywed couple!
Head tables | allows you to sit with all of your closest people whether it be your wedding party, immediate family, or just anyone special to you all!

GRAND EXITS | We're here again to share some helpful wedding tips! A question you might have is do you want to do a grand exit? If so, how do you want to do your grand exit? We're here to help you with some of common options :
🎇 Sparklers | It's always fun to play with fire right? However some venues may not allow sparklers due to the risk so we have some other ideas for you as well!
🟣 Glow | You're guaranteed to have a fun time with anything that glows in the dark! There are many options for glow items such as glow sticks, glow wands, foam glow sticks, and really anything that lights up!
🫧 Bubbles | Bubbles are so fun & timeless! Plus they're a great cost efficient option for your grand exit!

Flower People 🌼 | A question that comes up during the wedding planning process is what we call your 'Flower People.' Do you want to have someone that comes down the aisle with flowers and if so who do you want it to be?
Sometimes if you choose to do a 'no kids' wedding, couples will choose to have a Flower Grandma or a Flower Guy. Both very fun!
Another question that comes up is does your venue allow flowers to be thrown, if not what should you use? The AWP team has seen all kinds of options from bubbles, to ribbon wands, to just simply having a little one hold a sign.
Your options are endless & this can be such a fun moment in the ceremony for everyone to get a good laugh and to maybe help lighten the nerves 😉

VOWS 💍 | There will be many decisions for your big day and one of those will be how you want to do your vows? There are many options AND you're in luck because there is no wrong answer!
✍️ Do you want to write your own vows or do you want to allow your officiant to do a version of the 'traditional vows?'
❤️ If you write your own vows do you like the idea of sharing those privately after the first look or during the ceremony in front of your friends & family?
The best advice we can give is to do whatever you think is best for you and your partner! This is such a special moment & one you will remember forever so go with what best fits your story.

Did you know, AWP loves to give opportunities to learn in the wedding world by having interns join for weddings? We feel there is no better way to learn than to jump right in and get first hand experience! All of us on the AWP team started out by interning and loved every minute of getting the first hand experience.
We asked one of our current interns Isabelle to share her experience so far :
Hi! My name is Isabelle & this semester I’ve had the privilege of interning for Absolute Wedding Perfection. Through this experience I’ve gotten to attend vendor meetings, learn the behind the scenes of weddings, and of course attend weddings. Attending weddings has been so much fun as I get to see the couple’s special day come to life and you can always feel the love in the air!
