After a long posting break I’m excited to share some of my more recent weddings and events with you.

As I’m doing fewer weddings these days I find myself really savoring the details and the uniqueness of each wedding.

I’m kicking it off with a post from Kate and Adam’s wedding day that was all about minimalism, elegance, and timeless design.

Charli and Jake’s May wedding was absolutely gorgeous, just like them!

We had a bit of rain through the day, which gave us some super cute umbrella photos (swipe!). But, we also had a superstar vendor and an incredibly sweet couple who were ready to celebrate with their friends and family rain or shine!

It’s time for a 🌷Tuesday tip🌷 for those just getting started with your wedding planning - create a budget and set your priorities.

I hear you saying, “I don’t know how to do!” Hire a wedding planner! That’s an area where a planner is an invaluable resource. If you hire a planner after a few major vendors are in the place (like venue) create a budget and prioritize the remaining vendor choices by what’s most important to you!

One of my biggest jobs as a wedding planner is to make sure that the busyness of wedding day setup never touches these ladies. Your wedding should be stress-free, fun, and full of heartfelt moments. After all, you only get ready for your wedding with your best friends once. 💕

First looks - I cannot say enough positive things about them. They make the logistics of your post ceremony time so much smoother and offer you time to relax with your new spouse (wow, so official) and enjoy your guests without feeling any rush at all.

While I totally understand wanting traditions to stand, incorporating a first look (or a few of them!) is such a great way the joy and love of your wedding day. You can have a first look with bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, grandparents, flower girls and ring bearers, besties, the possibilities go on and on.

Jenny and David included a few first looks into their timeline and the masterful .photo captured the unique sweetness of each one.

I’ll be sharing them in my next few posts and reels, so stick around!

Guys, this was just the sweetest moment that was so beautifully captured by .photo.

Jenny had the most caring, loving group of bridesmaids. They were so committed to doing all they could to make this wedding fun and stress free for Jenny.

You can really see the love in their faces when they get to see their gorgeous girl for the first time! Whether they were her sisters by birth or by years of friendship, it was all love.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Today is a day for being grateful and reflecting on this year. It’s been one of change for our family. Moving, trying on new roles, learning from challenges, and adapting as our family’s and business’s needs grow and evolve.

It’s been a year that I learned how to better say “no” and how to better and I’m working on better keeping my priorities in order.

I’m so grateful for every wedding and event I’ve been a part of this year and for the community and friends and vendors who make work fun even after 16 hours 🤪.

The ceremony was so tender and sweet, everyone cried, there was a little rain shower right in the middle, and a rainbow 🌈 met them at the end of the aisle as husband and wife! It was pure magic!

And the reception was the best. You know who loves a dancing crowd? I do 🙋‍♀️

💥💥Update time! 💥💥

It has been a great wedding season and I’m so excited to spend the next few months enjoying time with my family and friends and working with 2022 clients!

2022 is bringing some changes to EG Weddings and Events and I wanted to share with you!

💥 I am super excited to say that the EG Weddings and Events staff is growing! We will be offering Associate Coordinator options next year. I’ll be sharing more on that in future posts, but feel free to DM me for details!

It’s almost time to celebrate! 🎉🎉

Who’s excited for a Black Friday Sale, a big announcement, and the release of 2022 rate increases, and available dates? I know I am. This week marks the beginning of the holiday season for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not putting up my Christmas tree quite yet. But, this time of year the holiday feeling begins to build and I love the joy and excitement of this time of year.

Hi there! 👋

Wow, it’s been a little while since I posted here and I wanted to say a quick hello and let you know that even though I haven’t posted as often, I’ve been enjoying this wedding season and celebrating with many lovely couples. I’ve also been “setting table” for a really wonderful year in 2022.

I’ve taken some time to evaluate my growing business and to be grateful for each and every inquiry, meeting, wedding day, and happy couple I get to know during a very exciting and pivotal moment in their lives.

I feel really thankful for the growth my business has seen and I’ve taken some time to evaluate my next steps and I’m feeling energized to move forward. So, stay tuned! I promise to post more often 😆
