My husband and I owned Celebrations Banquet & Conference Facility in Kokomo for 12 years. I started officiating at our facility in 2010 when a good friend asked me to do their ceremony. I truly enjoyed the experience and started offering my services to brides at our facility and nearby. I have done 8-10 weddings a year since then.

I don't mind travel within 100 miles or so, but there is an additional charge ($1 per mile) for any location more than 30 miles from Kokomo.

That is perfectly fine. I've done ceremonies at lake cottages, city parks, back-yards and in churches.

I am a non-denominatinoal minister; not affiliated with any organized church. I generally only perform wedding ceremonies and occasionally a celebration of life.

Of course! I encourage couples to make their ceremony as personal and meaningful as possible. You may also write your own and do a repeat after me if you don't feel comfortable memorizing or reading them alone.

No; Indiana requires officiants to be an ordained minister and I am only an officiant in Indiana.

You should start booking as soon as you decide on a date; calendars do fill up fast so don't put off booking; as early as 2 years prior to your wedding date. I will also consider "last minute" requests - if your original plans fall through or it's a "quickie" ceremony.
