LOCAL PEEPS Don’t order, don’t cook!!!

Funnily enough…
I had a big banquet to cater for one of our beloved HS teams this weekend. It was postponed, rescheduled, then ultimately cancelled😩 (damn you snow and freezing temps and wind, damn you!).
It wouldn’t be fair of me to ask a not-for profit organization to eat the cost of all the food that’s been purchased and prepared.
So - - -
There’s food. There’s enough food for about 150 people that I cannot store in my rented kitchen.
Here’s where you come in😄
I’m selling meals. In servings of 4, 5 and 6. Delivery tomorrow between 3 and 5. There will be a $5 charge for for delivery because of the gas thing😒

Happy Lenten season everyone! Lots of people use this time to give something up for the weeks leading up to Easter, some will try to break old or unhealthy habits, some try to add new things to improve their mental or physical health. Our family follows the old tradition of giving up meat on Ash Wednesday and Fridays.
For the next few weeks I will post some ideas and recipes that are meat free and easy to make.

Dearest Friends,
We hope this message finds each and every one of you safe and healthy.
We just wanted to write an update since you have not heard directly from us in the last several months.
We have been able to serve our wonderful patrons and friends for the last 14 months using the safest of practices, as we always have, and will continue to do. Covid has made it very challenging for the food industry, especially during times when catering required food to be prepackaged individually, or additional steps needed to be taken to assure each customer that safety in food handling was held even higher in priority. We want for each of our valued customers to be assured that there is little risk of any exposure to diseases or illnesses.😃
Unfortunately due to the rising cost of food and supplies, we are reluctantly forced to increase our prices. Our goal, above anything else, is to continue to provide the best service to the most amazing community. It is our intention to serve quality dishes, made with heart and soul.😋
We want to thank all of your for your ongoing support through continuing to place orders and your love and shout outs on social media! They are truly the energy we use to drive us forward.🥰

Giving a shot for . For dinner I had a Turkey sandwich with . Not bad!!!

If you know me you know how much I love my white rice, bread and crackers so this is a big deal for me!

It’s mostly for health reasons. Not so much weight loss but being in my 50s now comes with some aches and pains I wasn’t expecting.

Don’t worry though, I can still make a regular kick-ass tray of mac and cheese...just none for me for now. See you in 40 days!
