Dave, our resident Great Blue Heron, had a rough day yesterday. He got his leg tangled in a rope in our pond. Thanks to our new friends at Red Creek Wildlife Center Dave was rescued and is now getting some much needed rest. X-rays show no broken bones, so we hope to see him back on our shore soon! Happy healing Dave ❤️‍🩹

Kinda obsessed with my project this week😍!This fireplace had to be boarded up to keep out critters 🐿️ and was always an eyesore. Finally had a chance to cap it and uncovered gorgeous brick and stone inside under a layer of crumbling plaster. This building never ceases to amaze 🤩

Our barrel room got an upgrade this week! As much as we loved the open beam ceiling the need for insulation and soundproofing called for a solution. So happy we found this beautiful panel option and extremely grateful for our resident handyman (my dad!) for completing it so quickly. We are ready for our next party this weekend!

We had an awesome day meeting many of our neighbors and showing off our new space. (We had so much fun that the only pics we have are of the food, lol!).
