AN EMPTY STOOL
As many of you know while taking care of my daddy I stepped away from the cooking/catering of Amy’s Kitchen/Big Daddy’s Catering and helped Kevin at The Ultimate Body Shop because we knew there was an interest in selling. Today I walk back into my kitchen to tidy up and get ready for my Health Inspections and boy is it hard. My daddy Bill is a huge contribute to why I chose to venture out into the grill in 2017; later opening my own commercial kitchen to serve the community. I miss him so. I have a stool at the sink; I have a stool at the prep table. The stool was just a part of it-the norm for us for him to help. Now I sit on his stool and just weep-not that I took it for granted or maybe I did a little. He always showed up everyday to do my deliveries; to do my meat pick ups.; whatever I needed to be successful. What I would give…
The memories I have are so sweet and I will hold onto dearly. He loved me so and I still feel it daily..

We have created a new FB page; for those who are new viewers I had the restaurant/grill in LaGrange known as Big Daddy’s BBQ and Grill. After closing; my husband built me a commercialized kitchen in my backyard for catering and Take-Out. We will be adding some pictures along the way. I look forward to hearing from you.
