Sending out a huge Thank you to everyone that attended, participated and worked the wonderful Chef’s Exhibition this year! Thank you to The Chamber for making this all happen! The restaurant’s were all Top Notch in sharing their creations for all to enjoy! The music was outstanding- thank you Cory! And so many people that help make this event happen - many, many thanks to you! And Mother Nature even gave us a lovely evening! We are grateful and proud to have had the event here at the Bell Street Tavern, Events, and Lodging Peace and Love to all!

Looking forward to the upcoming Chef's Expo on June 15th here at the Bell! We are open for drinks at 4 this year! Outside front patio bar will be Wine and Beer (bring some cash for the outside bars) Main full bar open inside and another bar set up out back by the tent and music! Come early and enjoy a cocktail with us! We look forward to seeing everyone! Cheers!

Will also have the plant sale going on starting in late May. If you have any special requests, contact Michelle NOW :) Succulents, Herb and veggie starts, some annuals, more perennials this year and lots of Artsy containers and planters.

As we trudge cautiously over the icy terrain, thoughts of springtime are beginning to bring a smile. Hope you all are enjoying the quiet of winter.

Urgent volunteer need starting TODAY! A generous apple orchard in Bayfield—Erickson Orchard—has offered their surplus apples to distribute to food shelves in the region. We’re seeking volunteers to pick apples Monday, October 24th (today!) through Sunday, October 30th.

Picking bags and bins to hold the apples are provided at the orchard. Please help us glean as many apples as possible for our Northland neighbors!

Thank you to everyone who supported Bell Street this season as we moved through our first year of being open to the public again. It was great to see so many familiar faces come back and enjoy this beautiful establishment that means so much to so many.

Along with our events, weddings, and the La Pointe Center for the Arts Wine Tasting last Spring, we were pleased to offer several weekends of dinners, Wednesday Ethnic Nights in August, and Sunday brunches. The kitchen is now closed for season except for the following:

On Apple Fest we will be open Friday evening from 5 PM to whenever(no food) with Barbara at the bar and a great playlist of music. Saturday Jim will be grilling out front 12 PM – 6 PM, so come by for some scrumptious barbeque and hot drink specials.

On Fall Fest weekend, October 21-22 bar will be open Friday 6-10. Saturday 12-6 with delicious Housemade chili and corn bread. We will be hosting a staged reading of an original melodramatic musical comedy, The Last Voyageur. Written by Philip Valle (the same guy who brought us One Bad Apple), music by Barbara With, and directed by Julie Stryker, this rollicking comedy will be a staged reading with many of your island friends and family performing. Friday show at 7 PM and Saturday matinee at 2 PM. Don’t miss this great entertainment, cocktails and fun.
