Currently, when a child is removed, the child must wait in the Department of Child Services office. The child is often unable to bring personal possessions and is dirty, hungry, tired, and scared.

Isaiah 117 House exists to provide for that child’s needs, whatever they may be, in these critical moments between removal and placement.

🎉🎉T-Minus 4 weeks till Knickerbocker Fall Block Party and our 2nd Annual Chili Cookoff 🍲!!🎉🎉

👉This year we're cooking for a cause!!👈 All proceeds will go to Isaiah 117 House. Isaiah 117 House is a home that provides comfort and care for children awaiting foster placement. There are on average 250 children removed from unsafe homes every year in Tippecanoe County and almost 30,000 neglected children statewide, making Indiana the fourth highest in the nation per capita. Currently, Indiana has roughly 6,200 licensed parents and 13,000 children awaiting placement. Isaiah 117 House provides a safe and comfortable space for scared children to rest while they await placement. Please join us on Sunday, October 15th for a good time and a better cause!
