A spectacular planetary alignment will take place on January 21st!

These 6 planets will be perfectly aligned for the first time in a couple years! In fact, the alignment has already begun! You can see several planets in the night sky right now with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars being the brightest. Uranus and Neptune will be too dim for thr naked eye but can be seen with a telescope. Look across the southern sky too see them! The best time to view them is right after sunset.

On February 28th, 2025, we will have 7 planets all in alignment! These can be visible across the sky for several weeks. So despite clouds being a nuisance this time of year for sky enthusiasts, we should have multiple chances to see them!
