We donated some flowers and vases to one of the local nursing homes ! We couldn't think of a better place to help make more beautiful! Also a token of appreciation for health Care workers ❤️ and something special for the residents 💐 we still have some beautiful flowers left for special orders or make an appointment with us for YOU PICK FLOWERS

How did we choose our name ? Well it's actually a cool story ! When researching the history of our community/ property we discovered In the late 1800s the area was known as Tiptop. (The name was changed to Quebec on February 10, 1904.)
In 1903 when the railroad was extended through Transylvania County to Lake Toxaway a depot was located in Quebec (tip top) This was typical small station designed for receiving and shipping freight. It was located 4 miles from Rosman and it was an additional 6.8 miles to Lake Toxaway. Tip top also had a post office and a one-room log cabin which also served as the first Oak Grove Baptist Church. We wanted to pay homage to our land and those who came before and therefore became tip top orchard 😀 included are some cool photos of the railroad at Quebec (tiptop) and the map with southern railway and Quebec area !

Hey all ! We are so excited to announce we are officially tip top orchard and events LLC ! We are a brand new orchard in the western North Carolina mountains with a wide variety of fruits and flowers. We offer YOU - PICK as well as custom orders. Our family owned and operated orchard offer a place to learn, grow and enjoy ! As this is our first year most of our fruit trees and some bushes will not produce this year . But not to fear we will have planned special events just for our followers and local community. This events will include live music , food truck and activities for all. We strive to make tip top orchard a family friendly environment but still fun for all. Keep an eye out for our first event !
