As most of you know that I suffer from multiple chronic illnesses that flare up whenever they want - lately it’s been 24/7 for months! ()

Most of my days are spent in laying bed with severe chronic body pain, vertigo and nausea .. just to name a few.

NO, it is not fun or a vacation!

It’s TORTURE!
. and I wish there was a cure for all of my illnesses, but there aren’t.
. so I will continue to look towards the light during my darkest days.🌻

I am thrilled to have found a new art that let’s me take my time, and create beautiful pieces! - and an art that truly let’s me get lost in magic of every step.

I will share more details soon!

A little over two weeks ago we celebrated our son’s 6th birthday!

We always celebrate with balloons, a special shirt, and of course cake! I usually make the cake, but I was low on spoons (energy) - for the win! 🎂

This year I tried something completely new for me - a balloon garland! My husband filled the balloons for me, and I put it together. I found it so therapeutic! I definitely want to play around with some small arrangements! Although, getting them to stay up is something I need to work on 🙃

Today was a big day because I made my first cake delivery!

Most bakers nowadays love using fondant for their cakes, but I have never been a fan of fondant, and always end up peeling it off. 🤷🏻‍♀️ This is why I always use buttercream frosting to top my cakes, and cupcakes. I do enjoy using marshmallow fondant for accents though!

I love using buttercream frosting because you can adapt the flavor to any flavor and it’s just so creamy, and delicious 😋 I have perfected my buttercream recipe over the years, and finally found the perfect consistency without it being too sweet😁

I created some dulce de leche cupcakes, and a pistachio cake for this beautiful gender neutral baby shower. I went with these flavors because the mom loves both caramel, and pistachio- and she still raves about how delicious they were!

My favorite part about creating for others is just seeing the joy that my creations bring to them. Whether it’s with my baked goods or my other creations - I make everything with love, and gratitude 🥰🌻

I have yet to meet a three year old who isn’t fascinated with dinosaurs! I absolutely loved getting everything ready for Jake’s Dino-mite bash. From making the cute dino party hats to the fossil dig cake.

I hand painted these pirate themed scapes, and games for our son’s 1st birthday.

I always get sucked into the theme of whatever event I am throwing or helping with, and I absolutely LOVE it!

BUT my body doesn’t always feel the same whether I pay for it with the increased body pain for days or the instant neuropathy in my hands that stops me in my tracks.

The look on my son’s or the recipient’s faces makes everything worth it! It just continues to ignite my passion to create. 🤗

I love to craft, but baking and decorating cakes/cupcakes are my absolute favorite!

Unfortunately, with my fibromyalgia, this takes a huge toll on my body, and I have had to lessen the amount that I do.

I absolutely LOVE doing smash cakes, and filled cupcakes.

I started this page earlier this year before Covid-19 .. and as we all know, that put a pause on everything.

We have all been affected by it differently, and it wasn’t until last week when I was contacted by two friends to do some custom work, that something sparked inside of me. (Thank you & .snaps💕)

I was finally able to draw up my own logo last night 🙌🏼 It was inspired by all aspects of my life, and I absolutely love it 🥰
