We are pleased to welcome South Lake County Regional CERT back to Unplugged Fest 2024 - Lake Zurich Community Event this year!

Founded in 2006, SLCR CERT is an ALL VOLUNTEER Section 501(c)(3) organization providing emergency support services to supplement the first responders (Police, Fire, EMS, Public Works) of Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, Long Grove, Kildeer, Deer Park, and Ela Township during emergency and non-emergency events.

SLCR CERT’s 75 members are extensively trained in First Aid, CPR, Triage, Search and Rescue, Traffic Control, Disaster Assessment and more! CERT is mobilized 24x7 to support and supplement local police, fire, emergency medical (EMS, EMA), and public works capabilities in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Founded in the early 1970s by volunteer firemen, the Lake Zurich Flames has one of the longest running youth football traditions in Northeast Illinois.
