We are over-the-moon excited to be hosting our first annual Farmhouse Christmas Market on December 7 from 9-3 at Peaceful Valley Farms MI! We are even more excited to share that nine other extremely talented creators will be joining us as part of this event! Gift options (whether for yourself or friends and family) range from handmade cutting boards to unique porch signs to trucker hats that you can design on site! Oh, and there will be delicious baked goods for sale, stained glass pieces and all kinds of wholesome body care products and unique home decor! 🚨Discontinued product🚨

Due to changes in the manufacturing process our vanilla scent no longer meets our standards. Until we can find another vanilla scent from economically priced company we have made the heavy hearted decision to discontinue the vanilla line of skincare.

Is it your favorite scent? Now is your moment to grab it while you can.

When will it return? We don’t know when this scent will return. We are searching for another vanilla scent that meets our standards.

You can choose on farm pick if you are local or we can ship it straight to your door

What will take its place? Although nothing can quite take the place of that sweet vanilla smell. We have been making some great new smells such as orange sage, blushing roses and mountain man to name a few.

Frost touched the farm last night❄️

Not a hard killing frost but enough to put more than half of the dahlia plants to bed for the winter. Although frost touched us we saved some beautiful flowers for you to enjoy and end the fresh flower season with a bang💥💐

The self serve farm stand is filled with the last of the fresh flowers for the 2024 season.
When you stop by to grab your beautiful flowers here are some things to remember:

💵 bring cash, we accept cash or check and the pay box is located on the porch
💐fresh flower bouquets are located in the cooler on the porch
🌲fresh flowers may have come to an end but Christmas is on its way which means wreaths and porch pots will be available soon

🍁We dropped new fall smells and now we are bringing them to you!!

You can find us at Saginaw Valley State University Ryder Center 10am-4pm. We have expanded our selection of smells and are bringing you a build your own beauty box. Choose from a selection of wonderful products to make a skin care routine built for you and by you!

The selection of vendors is wonderful with 180 vendors! There is something for everyone!

Blushing Roses: a sweet smell of geraniums and bergamot which make a aroma of which smells like roses

Mountain Man: scented with a woodland wonderland of pine, juniper, spruce and more

Cinnamon Inc: it is an aromatic scent of all things fall cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves.

🚨The Road is OPEN 🚨

After months of taking detours and countless conversations with the road crew the road is now open!!

We are very grateful for the thoughtfulness of the road crew and the kindness they showed us as we tried to remain open through the road closure. We were able to get a utility drive culvert due to them redoing the road and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Now that the road is open remember to stop by the farm stand. it is self serve so no need for an appointment or to call ahead we do this for your convenience.
When you stop by there are some things to remember.
🍁the farm stand is self serve
💰We accept cash or check- the drop box is located on the porch
🏠 This is our private residence please respect the space. No need to give yourself a tour although you can see some beautiful flowers from the porch of the store🙂
💐the farm stand will remain open until November 1st

Let’s talk discouragement
Picture this, you make plans,the best of plans. You get excited and start to prepare…
And then life happens. Your road gets shut down for construction, people bad mouth your business to where vendors don’t want to come, etc.
In spite of all of the difficulties we are planning a beautiful wedding 💕

Well that’s where we are.
So with a heavy heart we have canceled our fall on the farm event which was scheduled to happen on October 5th💔
We are sad and it is hard to not be discouraged and disappointed but this is not the end
Good things will come of this such as, we are getting a ceiling in the store front! We have been waiting and saving for this for almost 4years. A new road side sign will be coming soon, along with many more improvements so stay tuned. The Mother’s Day craft show for 2025 is still a go!

Are we discouraged/ disappointed? Yes

Are we excited for the future? Absolutely!

How do you handle this discouragement/disappointment? One day at a time. We will move past it and not dwell on it. The Lord has big plans for our farm and we are excited for all of you to be part of it.

“I’ll never grow dahlias”

Those word left my mouth three years ago.
•They’re to much work
•You have to dig them
•You have to divide them
•You have to store them
•We don’t have room for them
These are some of the reasons I gave for never wanting to grow dahlias

-Never Say Never-

Fast forward 3 years and you will find a dahlia field with almost 300 tubers planted with 30 different varieties.
Yup I did it! I dug into dahlias
Am I scared I’ll fail? Absolutely!
Do I know where I will store them over the winter? Yes!
Is that space built yet? No😅
What will I do with the tubers they produce this year? Make more growing room?😆
Do I have irrigation?💧not yet

These are some of the questions and tasks I must do. I’m excited for this new leaf I’m turning over. Dahlias are a beautiful fall flower that is a great addition to the garden. I can’t wait for the blooms!
