Hi! It’s Emily!

It’s been almost 3 years since I showed myself on this page, so I figured that it was about time I came on here and re-introduced myself! My business has grown significantly in the past few years, and I have a lot of new friends on this page, so I wanted allow all of the new peeps a chance to get to know the gal on the other side of the camera!

So… HEY!
My name is Emily Graham and I am a 24 year old photographer and videographer based in Colorado! I’m a Denver native, and am lucky enough to still call Colorado home!
Outside of this business, I am involved in about 1000 different things (never limit yourself to just one hobby right?)
I was a competitive gymnast my entire life and am now the Head Gymnastics Coach at Bear Creek High School, going into my 6th season! Additionally, I co-founded a Run Club in Denver, and have volunteered with Special Olympics for over 10 years! When I’m not at my desk editing, you can find me coaching, running, or doing something outdoors!

I got into this business purely on accident, through some family friends who were looking for someone to film their wedding — long story short, they decided to take a chance on little 19 year old me. Little did I know I would fall in love with photo + video work, and this industry as a whole!!

My whole philosophy as a photographer is to capture you in your most candid moments. I’m a firm believer that life’s true beauty lies in the tiny details… ones that oftentimes go unnoticed. I strive to capture your story exactly as it is. No staging, no posing, just you. Authentically and Unapologetically.

So, that’s me! I hope I get to meet more of you this year and capture your unique story!

Rory & Grace’s Proposal story will forever be one of my favorite ones to tell just because of how hilarious and perfect it was. Rory had been planning to propose for MONTHS and after tons of meticulous planning, we had come up with a fool proof plan and exact coordinates of where to meet.
When I arrived at the agreed upon spot, I came to find another couple doing a surprise engagement in the EXACT SPOT we had planned on… like down to the inch.
I ended up getting photos of both couples and all four of them got to share a good laugh afterwards, because seriously, what are the odds.
Regardless, Grace was completely caught by surprise and these photos tell that story. Needless to say, it’ll be a day that all of us will remember forever.
Here’s to the start of THEIR forever!💍🥂⛰️

Sappy Post Incoming (sorry not sorry)—
In June I had the great honor of photographing a 50th birthday party for a dear friend of mine — someone who who truthfully has always felt more like family. I grew up with Janine’s girls, and for as long as I can remember she and her family have played an incredibly important role in my life.
While “50” is a huge milestone in anyone’s life, this birthday party celebrated so much more than that. Janine has lived a remarkable life, and to know her is to admire her.
During her toast, Janine touched on how in most of our adult lives, the only time that you’re in a room with ALL of your closest friends and family is at your wedding… and then your funeral. She decided that this milestone was the perfect excuse to break that tradition… why wait until it’s too late, when you can throw the greatest party of all time RIGHT NOW?

If there’s one thing we can ALL take away from my “Aunt J9” it’s to find your people, love them well, and most importantly - THROW THE DAMN BIRTHDAY PARTY🪩🤍

With the school year right around the corner, I’m reminiscing on all of the amazing grads I had this year, especially all of the Education Majors heading into their first year of teaching!!✨It takes a special kind of person to dedicate your life to educating others, and it was so special to capture this time in Emily’s life!! ✏️🎓🪩

Getting around to posting the last few galleries from this grad-season! Ashley was the sweetest grad — Her whole family came to her photos (you can see some of them in the last slide) and they were just the greatest to work with. I’m so lucky to get to work with so many amazing people and capture their special moments🤍🏔️🎓
