Our Story
Welcome to Liberty Farm of Lambertville. We host outdoor weddings and all types of family events in our barn. This property dates back to the barn being built in 1856 and the house, 1876. Both sit on 2 beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of historic Lambertville, Michigan. In the backyard there is a very large pergola covered in 100 year old wisteria vines, which makes it the perfect place to host an outdoor wedding. For those individuals looking for something more rustic, we have two oak trees that form a magnificent canopy to get married under. Throughout the yard you will find cottage English garden rooms, antique birdhouses, architectural structures, and lots of picket fencing to help accentuate the beauty of this wonderful landscape.
The barn has been recently restored, and is able to accommodate for wedding showers, baby showers, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, retirement parties, portrait sessions, family reunions, fundraisers, group meetings, class reunions and other special occasions. This venue has been on the Bedford Garden Tour in 2009 and 2017 has won Yard of the Month for Bedford Township in June of 2009.
We will be re-opening for business in April and running thru October of 2020. We can host outdoor weddings for up to 125 people. The barn can be rented for 3 hours ($280) and has an occupancy of 60 people. We provide all of the tables, chairs and linens for the event and we take care of setting up and breaking everything down.
